The online store that has completely changed the way that my family shops
When I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, I was given a list of things that I could no longer eat, ingest, apply to my skin, etc.*. To say that I was overwhelmed would be a vast understatement, as the list was not only extremely long, but also included a lot of ingredients that I wasn’t familiar with. After further research, I realized that the ingredients that were found in my shampoo, lotions, storage containers, down to the type of cotton balls I use were no longer safe for me to use.
Around the same time of my diagnosis, I saw an ad on Instagram for Brandless. Have you heard of the company? Their “Just What Matters” motto focuses on offering simple products--free of harsh chemicals, packaging, and offers products at a fraction of what you’d find from the leading name brands. You can buy anything and everything from food (my girls love their jerky) to everyday items like paper towels and cotton balls or even makeup and cleaning supplies. Here are a couple of staples that I always go back to:
Oh, and everything is $3. Yes, whether you buy a pizza cutter or a bag of granola, you’re paying the same price on anything that you add to your cart. How great is that?
Brandless has become my family’s one stop shop, which is great for not only cutting down on the time that I spend shopping but also makes it easy for me to know that I am choosing products that are safe for me (and my family) to use.
As someone who recognizes how difficult it can be to navigate the world of finding products that are good for you and your family to use, I want to invite you to try out Brandless. Use this link to receive $6 off of your first order (make sure to create profile before checking out to get the savings)!
And if you’re already a Brandless lover, comment below and let me know your favorite products! I’m always on the lookout for new products to try in our home.
